The Light School is a Christ-centred independent school for children aged 3 to 11. We are always delighted to meet prospective families and help guide you through the steps to joining us at TLS.

Visiting the school
We are delighted to welcome families for a personal tour and meeting. We will share who we are and discuss your hopes for your child
Registering your child
To register for a place at The Light School, we ask that you complete our registration form and pay your registration fee. As soon as we receive this, we will contact you and inform you of the next steps
Offer of a place
We aim to make offers within one week of you completing the registration form.
Accepting your place
If you make the decision that The Light School is the right school for your child, we ask that you complete our final paperwork and pay your refundable deposit. Once all paperwork has been received, we will confirm your child’s place and begin to talk to you about transition, uniform and becoming part of The Light School community!
Fees
The Light School is a charity and does not receive government funding apart from funding for Early Years places. As a result, fees are taken for each child to pay for the running of the school. Fees are intentionally set significantly below local and national independent schools.
